Following the recent expansion of SWAN as provider Independent Advocacy Services throughout Wiltshire, SWAN is actively seeking and welcoming applications from individuals living in the North, West or Kennet areas of Wiltshire to join the SWAN Board of Trustees. The Board currently has 7 Trustees, from different backgrounds, offering a diverse range of interests and skills to the ongoing management of the organisation. However, all of these currently live within the South of the County. Although SWAN has staff who are employed and who live and work outside of South Wiltshire, we have no Trustees with the specific knowledge of the geographical, social and demographical make up of these areas, and the challenges that these may bring, or cause for clients needing advocacy services. It is felt that this knowledge would be exceptionally beneficial for SWAN, our staff working from Devizes and primarily those who use our services. |
